We can kind of do that here sometimes... like, sure, the games are kind of bullshit, but... someone's going to eat shit no matter what, that's just how it's going to be, but we can be there for our friends and family afterward, helping them to pick up the pieces, so we can all move on.

I do miss my home though...

Ah, I do, actually. [ she takes out a ghost busters rip off. ] This! We're a team of ghost fighters and we have super high tech gear that allows us to suck up the ghosts. We do need to wear them down with our proton packs, but otherwise we make them our bitches!

[ boots up the game and clears her throat. ] Designed in 1984 by Egon Spengler and Ray Stantz, the Proton Pack counters the negative energy which ghosts are made of with a Proton Stream, a stream of positively charged ions which can harness a ghost..

[ it's mindless fun! so at least there's that. she moves a little bit closer to him, leaning against him and looping her tail around him to hold him close. she's getting just a little bit tired. ]

[ he'll let her, content with the close proximity and happy to be used as support if she's getting sleepy. He'd offer her a hug but he can't really play and do that, but he'll keep an eye on her to see if she's actually getting tired vs still playing. He will gently bump his head against hers at one point to let her know that if she's comfortable she can stay there as she likes. ]

[ startles just a little bit at the bump, because she had been starting to doze off, but that's nothing some mountain dew can't fix. she flashes him a smile, tightening her tail around him and looking back to the screen. ] Busting ghosts is so much better than hunting ghosts, right?

Yeah, they don't seem to want to give us much of a fighting chance. I'm still trying to figure that out, though. I would think putting us through this stuff with a fighting chance in terms of a game would make for all the drama and ratings. It's not like they can't make us still lose in the end if they want if we do better than they like.
